If you are asking whether we are able to tell you which magstripe or chip type the key card is if we know which locking system the hotel is using.

The answer is NO.

Different hotels may use different chips or magnetic stripes even if they are using the same locking system.
So, we would need 2 types of sample cards for testing;

1. One that hotel is already used;
2. One that hotel never used.

2 pcs each would be the best. Once we’ve tested the cards, we will get to know what kind of magstripe or RFID chip
we need to use for the key card.

Don’t you worry if you don’t have any cards in your hand, contact us for a sample pack to test in the hotel.

Normally, we provide preprinted cards with magnetic stripe or RFID chip only without encoding. The hotel will encode each
hotel card with an encoder, only an encoded key card could open the right door.

Hotels change their key card frequently in order to maintain their image branding, which also pushes the
cost higher – especially when the chip they are using happens to be an expensive one.

HOW TO GET A FREE SAMPLE CARD?

DO YOU PROVIDE DESIGNING SERVICE?

Yes, we provide designing service if you don’t have your own designer. But we encourage you to create your own design.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY CARDS?

The production lead time is around 7-10 working days, we provide rush order service that if you need to finish your order within 3 or 5 days, we can also do that.

CAN YOU PRINT THE COLORS 100% THE SAME AS IN THE ARTWORK?

Cardcube introduces a Heidelberg 5-color printing press to print our cards, which ensures a high printing quality. But no one can guarantee the colors will be 100% the same as in the file because different computer will give a different color on the screen.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE SURE THE PRINTING COLORS ARE RIGHT?

Using offset printing, there will be a color tolerance of around 10-20%, if you need an accurate color matching, please provide the PMS color code for our reference, with which we can reduce the color tolerance to 10% or below. If you have a sample card which we can follow for the colors, we can make the color tolerance to around 5%.
